Beyond survival elements, the modpack also overhauls mob AI. Villagers feature a dynamic reputation system and more human-like behavior, while Iron Golems are made tankier, and illagers become smarter. Mobs benefit from improved pathfinding and a new, realistic target tracking AI that allows them to see through translucent blocks and increases their sight range. Additionally, combat mechanics are altered; there are no immunity frames, and the Better Combat mod requires a full attack cooldown to strike foes effectively. Bare-handed attacks deal no knockback. Crafting also involves progression, meaning crafting multiple items takes more time, simulating a step-by-step process.
