Chests Anywhere Mod 1.6.3–1.6.15

The Chests Anywhere mod allows players to access various storage containers from any in-game location by pressing the 'B' key. This includes chests, dressers, the fridge, the shipping bin, and Junimo huts. It facilitates item transfer without requiring physical proximity to the storage units. The mod offers two versions for download: an "unlimited" option that grants access to all chests from anywhere, and a "balanced" option that restricts access to chests within the player's current world area. Translations are integrated into the base mod for non-English users.

Specific features include the ability to edit chest properties such as name, category, sort order in the chest list, and visibility. Players can also view a chest's name in a tooltip by pointing at it in the game world. The shipping bin can be opened like a chest to retrieve items before they are shipped. The mod is compatible with Stardew Valley 1.5.5 or later on Linux, macOS, and Windows for both single-player and multiplayer modes. In multiplayer, farmhands can only access chests in synced locations due to game limitations. A known conflict exists with Joys of Efficiency when opening the shipping bin. The mod requires the latest version of SMAPI.
