MODBetter Pigs, formerly known as Winter Pigs, modifies pig behavior. It allows pigs to eat golden animal crackers, which increases their chance of finding truffles. Beyond its original function of allowing pigs outside in winter and rain, Better Pigs expands this to include more weather types. Users can configure animals to go outside during "Horrible Weather" (Lightning, Snow, Green Rain) and "Bad Weather" (Rain, Winter). There are also options to keep specific animals indoors regardless of weather or season. Input for these options must be a comma-delimited list of English animal type names, such as "Pig, Cow, Duck, Chicken, Ostrich".
