MODCave Spider Spawn introduces a modification that allows cave spiders to appear instead of regular spiders. By default, there is a 15% chance for this to occur, and they will only spawn below the surface. These percentages and conditions are configurable. The mod enhances difficulty as cave spiders can poison players and are more challenging to strike. It also offers the option to restrict cave spider spawns below a specific Y level, such as Y=0 where deepslate is found, though this setting is initially disabled.
