The mod includes "Smart Detection" to identify ore blocks. It does this by recognizing Block Group identification, such as "Ores" or "Ore," and through naming conventions where IDs start with `ore` or contain `ore_`. Additionally, it uses configurable lists found via the "Ores" asset map. "Deep Connections" is another feature, supporting full 26-way adjacency, which enables the mod to follow veins through diagonal connections. To use the mod, a pickaxe or appropriate tool must be equipped before mining an ore block.
