spark Mod 0.5–0.7

MOD

spark provides a profiler designed for diagnosing performance issues such as low tick rate and high CPU usage. It operates by sampling statistical data on server activity to construct a call graph, which is then presented in an online viewer for user analysis. The profiler is lightweight, can be used in production with minimal impact, and requires no configuration or setup beyond installation. It generates useful insights within approximately 30 seconds and offers customization options, including targeting specific threads and recording only "laggy" periods. The output is a highly readable tree structure for easy interpretation.

Additionally, spark includes tools for diagnosing server memory issues. These include a Heap Summary, which provides a basic snapshot of JVM heap memory usage and instance counts for each class; a Heap Dump, which creates a full HPROF snapshot for inspection with conventional analysis tools; and GC Monitoring, which allows users to observe garbage collection activity, duration, and memory freed. spark can also report server health metrics such as TPS, tick durations, CPU usage, memory usage, and disk usage. It can monitor individual ticks and report when a duration exceeds a specified threshold to help identify performance issue trends.
