OreGenerator Mod
MODOreGenerator is a data-driven ore generation framework designed to allow per-zone and per-biome overrides. It operates by loading configuration files found within mods and packs. Each configuration maps replaceable rock blocks to specific ore variants. Zone and biome keys used in these configurations must precisely match engine names.

Ores can be added using a pack, which involves creating a pack with JSON configuration files and placing it into the 'packs' directory. Alternatively, ores can be added via a plugin, which requires adding the framework as a dependency in the plugin manifest and bundling configurations in the 'resources' folder. The framework also supports height distribution controls, with 'min/max Y' controlling the range and 'vertical bias' adjusting density uniformly or skewing it lower or higher. There are distinct passes for 'surface' (lower density, biome-tuned) and 'cave' (repeat attempts, denser underground) block generation.
