The "Hidden Armor!" mod introduces hidden variants for all craftable armor pieces. Its purpose is to allow players to maintain their preferred outfit appearance while still benefiting from armor protection. These hidden armor versions do not conceal equipped clothing when worn. All hidden armors possess the same statistics as their regular counterparts, offering identical protection and other properties.

Crafting hidden armor requires the original, non-hidden armor piece. A specific requirement for crafting is that the original armor piece must have full durability; armor that has been repaired using a Repair Kit will not function as a crafting material for this mod. This is due to Repair Kits reducing maximum durability, which makes the item technically different from what is specified in the hidden armor crafting recipes. The mod creator notes this limitation cannot be addressed within the Asset Editor.
