Geophilic (datapack version) Data Pack 1.20–26.3
DATAPACKGeophilic is a data pack that subtly enhances vanilla Overworld biomes, inspired by scrapped Wild Update illustrations. It aims to provide light improvements to existing biomes without introducing new blocks, items, or biomes. Features added include fallen trees, forest clearings, boulders, tree stumps, bushes, and moss. Tree generation is adjusted to prevent players from frequently hitting their heads. The mod maintains vanilla gameplay progression and aesthetics, avoiding non-vanilla block palettes or wood types in inappropriate biomes.

This data pack is configurable using Datapack Toolkit. Versions 3.0.0 and above modify almost every non-ocean biome. Earlier versions, specifically v2.4.0, updated a specific list of biomes including Badlands, Birch Forest, Dark Forest, Desert, and various other forest, plains, and taiga biomes. The data pack is fully compatible with terrain-modifying mods and data packs like Tectonic or Lithosphere because it only modifies vanilla biome files. However, it is likely incompatible with other data packs that rework vanilla biomes.
